Happy Valentines day to me!
wow it was a busy day for me, not with the preparation of this day but with my class and work that i only am free now to input my blog. Today i am happy not that i receive chocolates or flowers or anything like that.. (hmm yup chocolate from my company, that counted?) But i received email from a friend and told me that he got married. I really like the friendship that this friend gives for i think he is really a nice person! So i'm very happy for him. Yesterday i was busying myself discussing my bestfriend's wedding too. Good friends around me have found the loves of their lives and being their friend, i feel surrounded by love and 'in' love too!
Truly i begin to like the description of my blog, that everything is so unpredictable but yet everything happen for a reason. What a beautiful day!

What's in a Friendship?

I started my day kind of sad today knowing that i had to let go of a friendship, or so i thought (maybe it was just an acquaintance). I thought the outing was ok or so i thought again. I did all that i need to do to sustain the friendship but perhaps the interest just wasnt there. But i respected that and had no regrets whatsoever. (If anyone was to take time to read the above, would have all question marks floating above their heads. Pardon me as i just would like to vent out my thought..)
There is really so much that goes into a friendship and most of the time, like most relationships, one person will sacrifice more than another and most often than not, the giving is less than equal.
I treasure relationships and it's sad when i have to let one go no matter how brief it may be. However i learnt to treasure my existing, long lasting friendships better (Cheers to them all!). I dont mind at all being the giving one as long as it's a friend i love.
Lastly, goodbye my friend and sincerely wishing you all the best for your future endeavours..
P.s. all others: Pardon me for my parable.

Push factors Vs Pull factors

Ahh.. nothing much happened the last few days worthy for me to blog, so was having writers' block haha.
Hmm something interesting triggerred my thought as i attended a course. I was considering a creer change thus i went for this course and when the course facilitator asked everyone of us to introduce ourselves and why do we want a career change, i realised all of them except one was pushed into this job. By this i mean that they all disliked their previous jobs and thus the push factors from their previous jobs were greater than the pull factor of this one. For me, i do admit that my current job (i have not left my job yet but attending the course at the same time) has push factors but the pull factors for this new job are more attractive to me! This is important to me because i dont want to move from one lousy environment to another so it makes me wonder about the motivation for this job that these people have? Perhaps they are all younger than me than why they can 'try out' more. Certainly i thought the pull factors in the new job should always outweighs the push factors in the previous one for a better career move.
Not sure how many of you agrees with me but that just my thought for the day..

It was a lazy and quiet afternoon on this Lunar New Year Eve that i had to work. I was reading the Reader's Digest when i came across this page with all the supa long words which i found them amusing and the thought is " Are they necessary?" I laughed out aloud in my mind and admired those people who came up with these words for their creativity! I thought i'd put them down in the blog to share. Meanwhile enjoy and here are the words below:
i) automatonophobia = fear of ventriloquist dummies (so is it chucky's fault?)
ii) bibliophobia = fear of books
iii) ecclesiophobia = fear of church (??)
iv) aulophobia = fear of flutes (speechless!!!)
v) selenophobia = fear of the moon (too much of werewolves stories?)
vi) venustraphobia = fear of beautiful women (i wonder...)
vii) logizomechanophobia = fear of computers

Just in case some may wonder what does *Gong Xi Fa Cai* mean, it's wishing you prosperity in chinese language. It's the time of Lunar New Year again. I discovered that it's also the time of Seollal in Korea. Despite that as they say the older one gets, the less of the excitement of celebrating the Lunar New Year, I tend to agree to a certain extent. This year i'm pretty excited and look forward to seeing my cousins and relatives some of whom i see only once a year. Certainly i look forward to the sumptious reunion dinner - Hot Pot - which i'll have a great feast tomorrow! Yummy! This year i'm going to give my mummy a big ang pow (red packet containing money) to bless her and to look pretty, of course! Hmm how i look forward and counting down..

My first blog in KFF and i decided to write in the theme of love. Man is born to love. Before conception, a little life is already planned by love. Sounds a little too lovey dovey.. : )
I was on my way home when i heard this mandarin song by a Singapore singer, Kit Chan 喜欢你, translated to be Like You (as in the feeling of liking). The song descibes 'Liking someone, whether it's his coat, his comb or his touch, will make you feel the simplicity of love. Going wherever he may go' I like the feeling of this simple love!
