I just spent a year abroad in Seoul finishing my degree. Am back in Cali now but dearly miss my life in Korea. Surprisingly I assimilated to Korean culture fairly quickly, dozing off on subways while commuting, buying random things on the stands on the street and the food...especially the food! I think kimchi is permanently a part of my diet now. In general I relish diversity and culture which is probably from being raised in California. Languages are my kind of hobby; so far Vietnamese, Chinese, and currently Korean. It would be wonderful to make friends with Korean-Americans here in Cali to share the language, go out for Korean food or just hang out!
